About
Operator, researcher, lecturer. One question, three vantage points.
I'm Sinan Isoglu. My work moves between commercial teams, doctoral research and the lecture hall. I keep returning to one practical question: what makes growth compound, so the next quarter is easier to build than the last?
The through line
Start with the evidence.
I started in commercial growth, close to marketing, pricing, go-to-market, and the messy hand-offs where plans meet revenue. The work taught me a useful suspicion: a busy quarter can hide a weak system. More spend, more people, and more campaigns are not evidence that the next quarter will be easier.
The doctorate at EM Normandie grew out of that suspicion. I am studying what happens to sales and marketing after a cross-border acquisition, when the value promised in the deal has to survive contact with a real commercial organisation. The fieldwork is under way; I am listening to people who were there and keeping the boundary between what they remember and what the evidence can support.
Teaching is the third test. If an idea cannot survive a room of students, it is not finished. I teach marketing, pricing, growth and AI in e-commerce at IU. The work supplies the situations, research supplies the standards, and teaching forces the thinking to become usable.
I work across German, Turkish and English, and across the practical distances between a commercial team, a research programme and a classroom. That combination is not a brand story added after the fact. It is the way the questions arrived.
Growth that compounds makes the next move easier.
